Peaches!

The anticipation for peaches is high! They are starting to appear in grocery stores and at local stands. We too are anxious and will reopen on Thursday, August 10th with new hours of 9 am to 6 pm.

Once peaches start, it is a long season lasting until the beginning of October. The very best time for Idaho peaches is in the month of September.

The early peaches are clingstone - meaning that they flesh of the fruit sticks to the seed - and are best for fresh eating, not canning or freezing. The later variety of peaches are best suited for eating and preserving.

Our peach varieties, listed in order of seasonal availability, include:
- Red Haven
- Red Globe
- Early Elberta
- Early Hale
- White
- Standard Elberta
- JH Hale
- O’Henry

We will have peaches available picked and for pick-your-own. Limited availability on U-pick so please call ahead if this is what you’d like.

Thank you for supporting our family legacy orchard.
